Recreation Facilities

Brown Candover has a large recreation field at its heart where village cricket is played during the summer months. The Candovers Cricket Club was set up as a one off event for the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and since then more fixtures have been added to the schedule each year.

The recreation field is also used for the Stall Ball, picnics and other summer activities including the village fete, which is always held on the first Sunday in July.

The Oxdrove runs through the Candover Valley and is an ideal route for walkers. These, along with the Wayfarers Walk, mean visitors to the valley are able enjoy its beauty.
